What a powerful hymn and the majesty of the hymn certainly comes across in this setting! Suggested use—on the 4th verse invite the congregation (in unison) to join the choir with the exciting organ accompaniment. The piece then concludes with the choir quietly singing the repeated words “I believe in Christ, my Lord, my God.”
