The soloist begins this tender arrangement in the key of C and the accompaniment joins on the downbeat. The simple melody of the first verse transitions with the accompaniment into the key of F and the second verse swells with beautiful embellishment in the solo line, transitioning to the key of B flat, and soaring to G in the high register at fortissimo, then diminishing to end with a soft recap.
